Jude’s Nepal Trek for IOM Breast Care

Whilst out walking the hills yesterday morning in preparation for Nepal with my walking buddy Bernie and wearing the right gear in good conditions....I slipped and fell!
Thanks to the fantastic Coastguard and Paramedic Services I arrived at Nobles A&E and got plastered...I have a broken ankle. I am gutted but also very thankful, utterly useless on my crutches at present but can only improve.
To all those who have sponsored me, I will be back on two feet in 6 weeks or so and then once my leg is strong again I will post more details of the new trek I will do. So sorry but I will get there in the end!

·   Paid for childcare for 3 days immediately after each cycle of chemo for a Mum, so sick from side effects that she couldn’t get out of bed.
·   Paid for a terminally ill Mum to take her child on a little holiday.
·   A lady had a stroke straight after her breast cancer surgery and went to live with her son. He wanted to turn their bathroom into a wet room. He had little money and had to take a week off work without pay to do the work so we gave them the equivalent of his weeks wages.
·    Paid for a fill of heating oil.
·    Paid urgent utility bills.
·    New reading glasses for an elderly patient.
